Do you love playing humbucker guitars, but would you like to have a brighter and clearer sound? Then you should check out the Pearlbucker. This original design will bring you a clear, dynamic and expressive tone that is more articulate then any other humbucker out there.  The unique combination of Heavy Formvar and Plain Enamel wire brings out a single coil-like brightness. With a tonal range that goes from a sweet, clear sounding neck pickup to a bridge pickup with Twang. Like all our pickups, this set is waxpotted for ultimate tone without any of the nasty microphonics.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Output

The Pearlbucker reads 7.5 K in the Neck and 10.7 K in the Bridge. All sets have compensated output to match volume. The output reading for the bridge pickup reads higher than it actually sounds. This is due to the use of thinner 43-AWG wire on the bridge pickup.

Used Materials

Pearlbuckers are wound with different types of wire on each coil. Both magnets are ALNICO 2. Baseplate's and covers are made of Nickel-Silver. 

Waxpotting

This set is complety waxpotted by hand to prevent microphonics.

Polarity

Like all Apollo Pickups humbuckers, this set is South Up on the screw side and North Up on  the slug side of the pickup.

Spacing

This set has the 49.2 mm Gibson Standard Spacing.
